You are wise to order strawberry plants this year, as strawberries will be very scarce and bring a high price.

This brings to mind a thought which might help you—it occurs to us that perhaps you’d like to have the opportunity to order some of our special commercial grower-type plants—plants preferred by men who make their living by selling fancy strawberries to select markets. These strawberry growers of course demand the varieties of plants that produce the very heaviest, and yield the finest fruit.

For that reason, we enclose our special strawberry and fruit catalog sheet. You will find on the first page of this sheet, illustrations and descriptions of special strawberry plants preferred by big growers thru-out the country. Other varieties are listed on the back of this letter.

We shall be very happy to have your order for any additional strawberry plants you would like to try. You’ll find it interesting to compare the yield from different types of plants, both in the kind of fruit and the amount produced. So, if you would like to grow some of the de luxe types shown on the enclosed catalog sheet or on the back of this letter, just fill in the enclosed order blank and send to us in the convenient business re- ply envelope, which requires no postage. We pay the postman when the letter is delivered to us.
